The Concept

Where cocktails are contemplated, not just consumed.

At the heart of KINKI sits a bar unlike any other: the counter and the DJ booth are a single object, engineered so that every drink is mixed to the rhythm of what's playing. Designed by Jesús Carmona and Carles Pinyol, the room is industrial-minimal — raw concrete tones, steel lines, and a ceiling that shifts colour with the music. Fifty people, maximum. Never more.

Tucked into Calle de San Dimas in Malasaña, KINKI opens for tardeo — the Spanish early-evening session — then deepens into a proper night as the hours pass. The team behind Antídoto Club built this space as a thesis: that drinking well and dancing badly are inseparable rituals, and that 50 people in the right room is always better than 500 in the wrong one.

The Energy

Music and drinks, inseparable.

The DJ booth and the bar are the same piece of furniture. That is not a metaphor. At KINKI, the person behind the counter and the person behind the decks may as well be the same person — the builds, the breakdowns, the drops are scored to the moment you receive your drink. From 11pm the ceiling shifts colour, the bass rises, and the 50-person capacity ensures every set feels personal. Techno, electronic, and leftfield sounds chosen by the team behind Antídoto Club — people who understand that a good night has a structure as deliberate as a well-built cocktail.
